About this password generator
Drag the slider to pick a length from 4 to 64, combine uppercase, lowercase, digits and symbols into your charset, and optionally exclude look-alike characters (i, l, 1, L, I, 0, O) that are hard to tell apart in print; generate up to 10 passwords at once, one per line, with single-line or bulk copy. Randomness comes from the browser's native Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues), and rejection sampling guarantees every character is picked with exactly equal probability — no modulo bias.
Strength is measured as information entropy: length × log2(charset size). Below 40 bits is weak, 40–59 fair, 60–79 strong, and 80 bits or more very strong. For more entropy, prefer a longer password over stacking character classes. Everything runs locally in your browser — generated passwords are never sent to a server or logged.
