About this statistics calculator

Paste a list of numbers into the box (separated by commas, spaces, newlines or tabs; full-width commas work too) and get live results: count n, sum, mean, median (average of the two middle values for even n), mode (several can tie, and "none" is stated when every value appears once), minimum, maximum, range, plus Q1, Q3 and the interquartile range IQR.

Variance and standard deviation come in both flavours: sample (dividing by n−1) and population (dividing by n). Percentiles use linear interpolation at position = (n−1) × p with p = 0.25 and 0.75, matching the default of most statistics software. Non-numeric items are listed and skipped while the rest of the data is still analysed; everything updates as you type and never leaves the browser.
